30A - Final Reflection

 Throughout this semester we have done a plethora of assignments that have put out minds to use and expanded the way we think to how entrepreneurs think. To this day the most difficult assignment for me was the bucket list of things we disliked. When something bothers us we think about it for a few moments and then move on with our day. It was hard coming up with 20 things that I disliked. I feel like I have developed an entrepreneurship mindset as I think about a lot of terms that we have talked about in class in the real world. I would tell a fellow student who is about to take this course is plan ahead, a lot of assignments require thought and some even require interviews and you have to plan accordingly, or else your assignments will not be done with quality.

Opportunity and Innovation

Ever since the spawn of internet streaming platforms, there has been a need for a dedicated company to step up to the plate and review movies and shows for the audience. Companies like Rotton Tomatoes and IMDb have stepped up but in my opinion, they have not done the best job. There is definitely room in the market and industry for a company to capitalize on a personalized movie recommendation website or app.

Ventrue Concept 

With Flicks, people will be able to sign up and become their own reviewers for movies and shows they have seen in the past and then our adaptive algorithm will then give them suggestions for shows and movies that they will actually like. 

Feedback

I got overall great feedback from my fellow classmates only making me more confident that this idea is in fact a problem that many of us face when using platforms like Netflix and Hulu.
