Reading Reflection No. 3
For my last reading reflection for this course, I chose to read Steve Jobs, Walter Isaacson. A bittersweet moment knowing that this class is about to come to an end. The overall theme of the book is that the way Steve Jobs was seen in the media was, in fact, the real Steve Jobs. He was a man who had a vision of what his products would look like and how they would be the best in the industry. Something that caught me by surprise that I did not know was that he was a college dropout, for some reason I had always thought he graduated from MIT or such. If Steve Jobs were alive today the only question I would have for him is why the simple fashion sense.

Hi Jorge,
ReplyDeleteI also chose the Steve Jobs book for this assignment! I've always been super intrigued by him and his success. I also was surprised to learn that he was a college dropout. You would think that someone as successful as he was would of attended and Ivy League school.
Hey Jorge,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like an interesting choice of book! Steve Jobs is certainly one of the most interesting minds in entrepreneurship and innovation. I feel like there is always so much anyone can learn from him just by re-watching his past presentations. It sounds like you enjoyed the book, I will have to read it sometime.
Hey Jorge, I also decided to read this book for my last reading reflection. It is pretty crazy that Steven Jobs was a college drop out yet was a CEO at one of the most successful companies in the world. His vison and obsession for minimalism definitely were some things that got him there. I would attribute his simple fashion sense to his obsession with minimalism.
